Ms Wanda’s Wardrobe was relaunched in April 2012 to incorporate the Fashion Mob, a people power movement focused on cleaning up the fashion industry. In October 2012 we brought together our very first Board of Trustees and by 2013 we aim to be a fully fledged charity.
Meet our Board of Trustees
As well as being the founder of Ms Wanda’s Wardrobe, Esther heads up the Board of Trustees. When she isn’t talking fashion she works as a freelance digital content creator and campaigner for other non-profit organisations such as ActionAid, Shelter and Greenpeace. She occasionally finds time to sleep and eat too.
Catherine has worked in charity management and administration, fundraising and project development for 10 years. She has worked for a variety of national and local causes across the UK and currently works for a local Cornish charity. When not raising money for good causes she can be found riding waves in Newquay.
Rachael is an experienced environmental activist with a broad knowledge of both on and off line campaigning. She’s worked for Greenpeace since 2007, supporting, training and inspiring a network of volunteers and activists across the UK. She is also a keen crafter, and has even dabbled in a spot of craftivism.
HJ is a sustainable fashion PR specialist. For two years HJ worked in and developed Bristol & Bath’s sustainable fashion sector, before returning to London in Summer 2012. You can read her blog, where she usually talks about menswear, her self-professed abysmal cooking ventures and interesting ethical fashion brands.
For the past three years Bronwyn has been involved in creating websites and developing iPhone and Android apps. However her pièce de résistance was building this website and creating our lovely newsletter template. When not writing code and fixing bugs, she’s digging potatoes and pruning trees with her husband on their allotment.
