Blog Action Day: The Power of We

On Monday 15th Oct it’s Blog Action Day. Find out about how the ethical fashion movement will be using the Power of We to blog for good.

Blog Action Day

Time and time again we’ve shown how people can get together and make great things  happen. And no community has shown that more than the ethical fashion one.

On Monday 15th Oct we’ll once again be showing the force of people power, as some of the best ethical fashion bloggers take part in Blog Action Day.

Blog Action Day is a global movement that encourages people around the world to blog for good all on one day. It’s been running for many years now, each year with a different theme. This year the theme is the Power of We.

Ms Wanda’s Wardrobe will be showing the Power of We by joining up with a number of other ethical fashion bloggers in a 24 hour blogging challenge. The initiative was devised by Ceri Heathcote from the Style Eyes blog.

They way it works is that every hour throughout the day Ceri will be posting blogs about different ethical fashion brands. Each brand has paid a small amount of money to be blogged about, and the money raised is going to Naomi House Hospice. The challenge is being run in the memory of Ceri’s niece who sadly passed away just a short while ago.

Ways for you to get involved

1. If you blog and would like to contribute a post to Ceri’s challenge then send us an email

2. If you’re an ethical fashion brand why not sponsor a post for just £30

3. If you’re more of a blog reader than a writer then follow the blogathon next Monday and share the links on your Facebook or Twitter pages to spread the love.

Alternatively you can sponsor Ceri on her Just Giving page.
