Last week we told you about the launch of our new photography exhibition – Cleaning Up Fashion. We’re now pleased to announce that our fundraising drive to raise money for the charities involved has started.

The UK’s first ever photography exhibition around ethical fashion campaigns is being run as part of the E17 Art Trail from 1st – 14th September 2012.
Photographing Fashion’s Dirty Secrets is curated by Ms Wanda’s Wardrobe and includes photos donated by ActionAid, Greenpeace, Traid and Anti-Slavery International. The aim of the exhibition is to not only raise awareness of the issues behind ethical fashion, but also inspire people in to action.
All the charities involved in the exhibition are dependent on public donations to continue their good work. Therefore we are helping to raise money for them through the exhibition.
We’re holding an evening fundraising event on Friday 14th September at the Rose & Crown in Walthamstow E17. Come along and enjoy some music, dancing, cakes and try your luck in our raffle. You can even take part in the premier of Pop Bitch Bingo – it’s bingo but with a difference.
The money raised on the night will go to one of the charities involved, as voted for by the public. However, if you can’t make the night, or would like your donation to go to one specific charity you can give via our Just Giving page.
We would love it if you could dig deep – this is such an important cause, and these organisations really do change lives.
