Describe your style in a sentence
Keeping it classic with a squeeze of quirk!

Who is your style icon (living or dead)?
I teeter between being drawn to the classic, effortless style of the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow & Jennifer Aniston and the retro/vintage inspired look that Zooey Deschanel has perfected. Feminine & classy…with a squeeze of quirk!

What style tips would you give to others?
I’ve learned the hard way about dressing for your shape and tried to crowbar (sometimes literally) my body into clothes that don’t suit me. Knowing what looks good, your colours, lengths and cuts is really important to feeling confident and owning your style.

What do you love most about being a fashion blogger?
I wouldn’t consider myself an exclusive fashion blogger but I love being able to share some of the ways I’ve spotted potential in second hand/vintage clothes and given them new life. I especially love it when revealing that your outfits are second hand can change people’s views on buying clothes from charity shops and being more ethically conscious.

Describe your style in a sentence
Simple yet colourful.

Who is your style icon (living or dead)?
My style icon right now would have to be Gillian Zinser. She constantly looks effortlessly cool and comfortable, wearing very daring pieces.

What style tips would you give to others?
Be yourself, wear what you feel comfortable in and what you like. But I’d say every girl needs to go a little crazy sometimes whether that’s splurging on a favourite item, or wearing a bold print.

What do you love most about being a fashion blogger?
Inspiration from other bloggers. The blogging community is great for finding out where items are from, how to style pieces and how to wear clothing you would never normally think about. It’s a really good way of shopping and trying something different.

Who is your style icon (living or dead)?
1960s Cher.

What style tips would you give to others?
Dress every day as if it’s your last day on earth.

What do you love most about being a fashion blogger?
Meeting like-minded women after years of being the odd girl out!

Describe your style in a sentence
I spent some time last year trying to describe my style in three words, what I came up with was classic, relaxed and versatile. Now when I shop I ask myself if something fits this – if the answer is yes I know it will fit in my wardrobe. I’ve made fewer bad shopping choices as a result.

Who is your style icon (living or dead)?
Audrey Hepburn – she always looked so poised and elegant.

What style tips would you give to others?
1) Accessorise! A plain outfit can be transformed by a statement necklace or unusual bag.
2) Shop your wardrobe. I often find that older items can be given a new lease of life by mixing with new items or wearing them in a different way.
3. Challenge yourself. Wear something you wouldn’t normally wear, or style an item in a completely different way to how you usually do – experimenting with your wardrobe often throws up surprising results.

What do you love most about being a fashion blogger?
I love finding like minded people and sharing and learning from them, exploring new looks and ideas. I have so much fun with my wardrobe since I started blogging with style challenges and have begun to use my wardrobe to it’s full extent. But I never stop striving to improve it, both from a style and an ethical point of view.
